At vethome.in, we aim to maintain transparency and fairness in all transactions related to pet care services, appointment bookings, service packages, and memberships. This Return & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and related requests are handled.


1. 🔁 Appointment Cancellation & Refund (BookingPress + Razorpay)

Appointments booked through BookingPress and paid via Razorpay for services such as veterinary consultation, vaccination, grooming, or checkups are governed by the following terms:

  • Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  • If cancelled within this allowed period, users may:
    • Reschedule the appointment, or
    • Request a refund, which will be processed after deduction of non-refundable Razorpay payment gateway charges, if applicable.
  • No refunds or rescheduling will be provided in the following cases:
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment time
    • No-shows or missed appointments without prior notice
  • If an appointment is cancelled by VetHome due to operational issues, medical unavailability, or unforeseen circumstances:
    • A full refund (including gateway charges) or a rescheduled appointment will be offered.

2. 📦 Service Packages (BookingPress)

  • Prepaid service packages are non-transferable and valid only for the registered user and pet.
  • Refunds for unused or partially used packages are not provided, except in cases where:
    • The service cannot be delivered due to reasons attributable to VetHome
  • Partial usage of a package does not qualify for partial refunds.

3. 💳 Membership Refund Policy (Paid Memberships Pro)

Memberships purchased via Paid Memberships Pro are subject to the following conditions:

  • Membership fees are non-refundable once the membership is activated.
  • Users may cancel their membership at any time, which:
    • Stops future recurring payments
    • Does not entitle the user to a refund for the current billing cycle
  • Refunds may be considered only in cases of:
    • Duplicate billing
    • Technical or system errors during payment processing

4. ⚠️ Exceptional Cases

Refunds may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for:

  • Duplicate or incorrect payments
  • Failed transactions where payment is deducted but service is not confirmed
  • Technical issues caused by system malfunction

Approval of such refunds is at the sole discretion of VetHome.


5. ⏳ Refund Processing Time (Razorpay)

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used via Razorpay
  • VetHome is not responsible for delays caused by banks, UPI providers, or card networks

6. 🚫 No Physical Product Returns

VetHome does not sell physical products. Therefore, return policies related to shipped or tangible goods do not apply.


7. 👤 User Responsibility

By booking services or purchasing memberships on vethome.in, users agree to:

  • Review service details carefully before confirming payment
  • Ensure correct booking date, time, and pet information
  • Adhere to cancellation timelines mentioned in this policy
